Numerous studies show that in recent years there has been a significant deterioration in the health and fitness of student youth. Scientists attribute this not only to the unfavorable socio-economic living conditions and environment, but also to the inefficiency of the physical education system in higher education institutions. This situation requires an active search for ways to improve the current system of physical education in higher education, the introduction of modern tools, methods, forms of organizing the activities of participants in the educational process, able to interest students, involve them in regular exercise. The hypothesis of the study was that the use of modern technologies for organizing the activities of students in the system of extracurricular physical education classes, the choice of which is determined by the requirements of the future profession, will help attract them to regular exercise and provide better training for future professionals. languages. The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate the use of modern technologies for organizing the activities of those who are engaged in the system of extracurricular physical education classes for students of different groups of specialties. Materials and methods of research: analysis, generalization and systematization of data of scientific and methodical literature; pedagogical observation, sociological (questionnaires, surveys); method of expert evaluation, methods of mathematical statistics. The research was conducted on the basis of higher education institutions of the city of Dnipro -DNU named after O. Honchar, PDABA, DUAN. The study involved 60 teachers of physical education and 180 students of different groups of specialties. Results. To increase the importance of physical education and sports, the formation of interest in them, motivation and awareness of the possibilities of physical exercise, educational forms of physical education should be supplemented by extracurricular activities that enable a creative approach for teachers and help students in their organization and conduct. In order to form the motivational and value attitude of students to physical education classes, increase the efficiency of extracurricular activities, it is recommended to use modern technologies of work organization, the choice of which for different groups of specialties was determined by their ability to develop qualities necessary for future professional activity.
