La réaction du 3,3'-diisopropyl-5,5'-bipyrazole avec le 4-fluoronitrobenzène conduit à un seul des trois régioisomères possibles : 1,1'-bis(4-nitrophenyl)-5,5'-diisopropyl-3,3'-bipyrazole. La structure cristalline a été confirmée par difraction aux rayons X. Le produit cristallise dans le groupe d'espace P2 1 /c avec deux unités asymétriques C 12 H 12 N 3 O 2 par molécule.
