This paper presents the results of research about some literary parties and festivals that have been realized in Vale do Paraíba, region between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil. The aim is comprehending the significates and consequences for the literary system (CANDIDO, 2000) . So, we observe and analyze the schedules of these events, especially those realized in 2019, in different cities of region. ... Cruzeiro (FLIC), a Festa Literária da Mantiqueira (FLIMA) e a Festa Literária de Guaratinguetá (FLIG), among others. Besides, we examined the schedules according to publicized in the regional press. This research contributes to the development about this cultural phenomenon (the Parties and Festivals), that stablish dialog with several ranges of society. The data obtained, link between schedules and questionnaire, show that is frequently the presence of authors from the region, the existence the exclusive activities for children (even if some are more entertaining), and the intention of relating literary culture to education. Then, it's possible to deduce these activities can contribute to promotion of literature beyond the selling books in the same time that allow organize the literary system in region.
