Addition to the Egerian (late Oligocene–early Miocene) gastropod fauna of Esztergom (Hungary)

Additions are made to the Egerian (late Oligocene–early Miocene) gastropod fauna of Esztergom-Szentgyörgymező (Hungary) by description of 27 species. 14 taxa are new records at the locality. A few rare species are represented by newly collected well-preserved specimens, and five new species are designated: Calyptraea baldii n. sp., Cypraeorbis nadaii n. sp., Paziella (Paziella) modesta n. sp., Contortia zitae n. sp., and Clavatula danuvii n. sp. New combinations: Tritia edentata (Báldi, 1966)

As holotypes of Egerian species were destroyed in 1956, neotypes are designated for five taxa: Euthriofusus szontaghi Noszky, 1936; Eoconus egerensis (Noszky, 1936); Cordieria collectiva (Noszky, 1936); Stenodrillia oligocenica (Noszky, 1936); Turricula telegdirothi (Noszky, 1936).
