A wind turbine is a device that converts kinetic energy from the wind into electrical power. The speed control of wind turbine rotation is necessary for maximum energy capture and to keep the turbine components within designed speed and torque limits. In this paper, an advanced pitch angle control strategy based on fuzzy logic is proposed.
