Using Information Technology among Heads of Academic Departments' at Yarmouk University and its Relationship to Decision Making

The study aimed at investisating the extent to which heads of academic departments at University of Yarmouk could use information technology, and its relationship to decision meking. The study sample consisted of 52 Participant. A questionnaire was developed to achieve the study objective and it was proven to be valid and reliable. The findings of the study showed that the degree of using information technology among departments heads was high. Moreover, the findings showed that there were no
more » ... gnificant statistical differences in all of the study variables )years of experience, age, and faculty( in their use of information technology. The results of this study also showed that there was a positive correlation between using information technology and the effectiveness of decision making.
