In a series of studies on the influence of hydrostatic stress on the plastic deformation of polycrystalline metals subjected to cyclic stressing , in the present paper , the 巴xperimental studies on low-cycle-torsional pulsating of 0 .15 per cent carbon steel under hydrostatic pressure at room t巴mperature were presented. 1 t wωconcluded that cycle-dependent plastic deformation of the m巴tal under combined stress cycling aild hydrostatic pressure was re� markably larger than that in atmosphere.ln
