Improved Incremental Launching Method for Steel Box Girder

During the traditional incremental launching method for steel box girder, high-performance launching equipment, more accuracy and stronger temporary piers are needed because of the exaggerated gravity caused by upper plate, which leads to the cost increasing. It can even cause damages at the support points due to the enormous gravity for the thin wall steel box girder.
