Since 1998 he has worked in different roles from research and development to positions involving more practical aspects of engineering. Mr. Mammadov has an M.S. degree (Mechanical Engineering Technology) from Azerbaijan Technical University and a Ph.D. degree (Material Science in Mechanical Engineering) from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy. He has more than 12 years of experience with BP Exploration in various areas related to the rotating equipment discipline including plant maintenance, machinery engineering, and operation. In his current role he is responsible for maintenance and reliability analysis for a variety of centrifugal compressors, centrifugal pumps, gearboxes, gas turbines, and diesel engines. Mr. Yusifov holds an M.S. degree (Machinery and Equipment for Oil and Gas Fields) from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy. He is an IMechE (UK) Chartered Engineer.
