The study aimed at identifying the effect of Counter-examples strategy on developing mathematical concepts and skills of high and low achievement preparatory school pupils. The researcher adopted the quasi-experimental approach. An achievement test of mathematical concepts and skills was prepared and applied to the sample of the study. The sample consisted of thirty-three first year preparatory school pupils at Ezzbat Al-borg mixed preparatory school. A pre-test was applied to the sample of the
more » ... o the sample of the study before counter-examples strategy was used to teach the mathematical concepts included in one of geometry units. The same test was then applied as a post-test. Results of the statistical analysis revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the mean score of low achievement and high achievement pupils in favor of high achievement pupils.
