A review of the Benhamiinae collection of The Natural History Museum, London (Oligochaeta: Acanthodrilidae)

During a visit to The Natural History Museum, London, in the spring of 1994, the author revised the material of the earthworm subfamily Benhamiinae. This report summarises that work, and gives descriptions of five new species: Dichogaster (Dichogaster) calabarensis, Dichogaster (Diplothecodrilus) hindei, D. (Diplothecodrilus) oxtobyae, D. (Diplothecodrilus) simsi and Eutrigaster (Graffia) maya spp. nov.
