Immediately offshore of the Mississippi Delta the geological setting conspires with numerous production installations to produce a unique set of problems that a seismic survey must overcome if it is to provide an accurate representation of the subsurface. Here we present the case history of a survey, the Eastern Delta survey, acquired in this difficult region.
