The article deals with the medieval reception of medieval Phaedrus corpus fables characterized by legal principles. The essay intends to show how jurisprudential words and many concepts of law have been transferred and modified or, sometimes, misunderstood and even cancelled, crossing from old version into various late medieval Phaedrus corpus made anew.
