This research tests the propositions relating to gender communication by Gray (1992) in his book titled "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" which had remarkable similarities with Tannen's (1990) research. It would be interesting to find out whether Gray's statements about gender differences in communication can be supported by an empirical study conducted in Malaysia.
