Temperature in seed germination has been studied extensively since it is the most important factor of the external environment in ensuring the transition from dormancy to vigorous life activity. Systematic experiments for deciding minimum, optimum and maximum temperatures for seed germination of field crops was already conducted. Seed pretreatments with water needs standardization in each case for the appropriate concentration and application, amount of soaking solutions, soaking dilutions etc.
