The article deals with the process of creation of the Common Security and Defense Policy of the EU, establishing relations with the countries of the Eastern Partnership in this field. Also author analyzed the activities of EU missions in these countries, joint defense activities. Article estimates the prospects for improving relations between parties in the context of the revised European Neighborhood Policy, the new EU Global Strategy and the formation of Permanent structural cooperation (PESCO) in the field of defense.
