This study deals with the image of women in pre-Islamic poetry, by examining three basic models in this poetry: Antara Ibn Shadad, Imru' AlQays, and AlNabigha Alzobiani. The study aimed at showing the position of the poet towards women in society that placed women in a special position; it's related to social traditions on the one hand, and popular beliefs on the other hand.
