Objective: Compare the hemodynamic changes and cardiac function between active abdominal compressiondecompression cardiopulmonary resuscitation and standard cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Methods: A prospective controlled trial was conducted. Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) was used to observe the cardiac valves and assess left ventricular end diastolic volume (LVEDV), left ventricular end systolic volume (LVESV), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) during CPR.
