In this article presents a numerical study of linear and nonlinear stiff problems using the single-term Haar wavelet series (STHW) technique. The obtained discrete solutions using the STHW are found to be very accurate and are compared with the exact solutions of the linear and nonlinear stiff problems and also with the classical fourth order Runge-Kutta method (RK).
