The system is developed using PHP 4.3.8 with MySQL 3.23.49 as the database server, and Apache2 as the web server. For the SMS hardware, an Itegno 3000 GSM Modem is used. And for the SMS gateway, Now SMS is used. From implementation and test results, it can be concluded that the SMS service system using an Itegno 3000 GSM Modem is capable of providing academic data in a clear and easily understandable format. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Pada saat ini di Universitas Kristen Petra telah tersedia tiga metode untuk mengakses data akademik mahasiswa, yaitu terminal ASIT, web PRS-ASIT serta telepon. Kemajuan teknologi yang ada sekarang telah memungkinkan penggunaan fasilitas SMS pada handphone semakin mudah, dan penggunaan SMS untuk layanan data akademik mahasiswa akan memungkinkan penyediaan data akademik kepada mahasiswa secara cepat, kapanpun dan dimanapun mereka membutuhkannya.
