Liver plays a remarkable role in maintenance and modification of homeostasis of the body. Hepatotoxins are the chemicals that may lead to liver injury. Drug-induced liver injury is a chief health problem which is threatening not only health care professionals but also the pharmaceutical industry and drug regulatory agencies.
