SHINRIICHI" [Chinese] was written by McCartee Divie Bethune. J. C. Hepburn translated it into Japanese in 1867, and revised it in 1878. Both works were compleated with the help of his Japanese teachers. The revision compleated with the help of by Masatsuna Okuno. Which was excellent. Therefore when Hepburn translated the Gospels into Japanese, Okuno helped with it too.
