in 2001 and 2005, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell'Informazione, University of Pisa. He works on the design of innovative systems aiming at improving the performance, safety, and comfort of road vehicles. He coauthored almost 100 publications on international journals and conference proceedings. His current research interests include lithiumion battery modeling and the development of innovative battery management systems. Prof.
