more » ... pril 2003 , 27 patientS had stent placement for severe airway senosis . In 10 patients with life − threatening stenosis , we perfomied PCPS du 血 ig stenti 皿 g . Methods of cannUlation f()r PCPS were veno − arteria1 bypass in 2 patientS and veno − venous bypass in 8 patients. We evaluated SpO2 , blood pressure, PO2 , PCO2 , ACT , durlng the stenting procedure . Results. PCPS ma 血 tained good levels of SpO2, blood pressure, PO2 and PCO2 , The veno − venous bypass method yielded more stable data than veno − alterial bypass. Moreover , veno − venous bypass did not require suturing of the vessel alter removal of the catheters , and fac丗 tated catheterization
