... ith 0%, 10%, and 20% by weight. Taguchi's L27 orthogonal array experimentation was used to optimize the parameters of Al-SiC MMC's. The effect of parameters such as Speed, Feed, Depth of cut and Percentage of contribution on Metal Removal Rate and Cutting Force in turning was calculated. Signal to Noise ratio and ANOVA was used for finding significant parameter. Required comparisons are done between two Al MMC's. The experiments are conducted using HSS tool under dry condition. A Taguchi analysis is carried out. The effect of parameters is studied and presented.
