The territories of urban agglomerations are most susceptible to anthropogenic impact. At the same time, the area of urban forests of the Samara-Tolyatti agglomeration (further referred to as STA) has significantly decreased in recent years. A pressing issue is the preservation of the remaining forests in the cities of the agglomeration.
