The prevalance of Known diabetes mellitus in the Park Health Care Area. The research which has been held on in Primary Health Care Area of Public Health Department, Medical School, University of Ankara, has been carried on 317 diabetic patients; between December 1992 and December 1993. The prevalance of kııown diabetes is 1,68 % and has increased by age. Female male ratio is 2,72. A large part of patients is obese and they use oral anti diabetic agents and have taken diagnosis över the age of forty.
