ABSTARCT In this paper, we have studied the wear and frictional properties of the Al-Fe composite materials. The composite materials with 6.23 and .2 % Fe was prepared by the liquid metallurgical method. XRD and SEM technique were used to study the morphological character of the as-cast composite materials and subsequent forged by pneumatic hammer to homogenize the structure of the material. The optical and SEM results showed homogeneous dispersion of iron particles in the matrix. A dry sliding
