Fresh root tissue, in amount of 0.5 was subcultured in half-strength MS liquid medium supplemented with 0.2 mg/l NAA and 0.5 mg/l IBA, under continuous agitation at 110 rpm and total dark condition. The biomass of root culture was increased to 5.820 g after 6 weeks of culture. The root culture was maintained up to the 8 weeks.
