Resumo Este artigo é uma análise da transposição do mangá Hagane no Renkinjutsushi para animês, levando-se em consideração as suas duas versões existentes. Abstract This paper is an analysis of the Hagane no Renkinjutsushi manga translation, comparing the two existent, and different, anime versions. For this purpose, Julio Plaza's intersemiotic translation theories will be applied, together with basic studies about the narrative genre with sequencial images. This analysis begins with definitions, related to comics and manga: the similarities and also the differences between them. It will be followed by an explanation about the theoretical concepts of the intersemiosis process, applied in the analysis of selected Fullmetal Alchemist's manga frames, and comparing them with the related frames in both anime versions.
