This paper presents in a succinct manner the relationship between culture and leadership and it provides recommendations for cultural adjustment of the leadership style, with reference to the main activities carried out by formal leaders. Adaptation requires proper consideration of the Romanian cultural specificity elements, highlighted by the cultural matrix defined by the dimensions of societal culture, as presented in literature.
