Izvleček: Giovanni Battista Cocciola je bil italijanski skladatelj 17. stoletja, ki je nekaj časa deloval tudi v Poljsko-litovski zvezi. Njegova glasbena zapuščina, ki se je le deloma ohranila in je v mednarodni muzikološki literaturi tako rekoč neznana, obsega motete, cerkvene koncerte, kanconete in maše. more » ... v Litvi, glasba 17. stoletja. Abstract: Giovanni Battista Cocciola was one of the seventeenth-century Italian composers active for a period in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. His musical legacy, only partially preserved and unknown to the international musicological literature, comprises motets, church concertos, canzonettas and masses. Cocciola is also the author of one concerto included in the Parnassus Musicus Ferdinandaeus.
