The paper presents somé application of the Virtual Reality in Industrial Metrology. The applications have been designed as part of a database. The components have been modeled using ProEngineer, and the simulation has been programmed in VRML using Java scripts. The components can be manipulated using the keyboard and the mouse. The introduction of these virtual instruments in educational activities will lead to a higher levél of qualification of the students offering them possibility to use and study these virtual instruments.
