Results: Results of production, storage, distribution network and the rice consumption-storage forecast for Mexico in 2030 are presented. Using the statistical base, depicted in a GIS projection. Findings / Conclusions: The geographical analysis of rice production in Mexico maintains a territorial organization of cultivation, distribution, storage and consumption, which locates economic activities based on geographical factors of the primary sector, generating some geographical patterns for rice production, such as location, distribution and consumption per human settlement
