The article is devoted to the history and current state of the Tatar women's costume. The features of clothing, shoes, hats, decorative elements caused by the mentality of the people are analyzed. The local features of the female costume complex of Tatars are revealed on the example of the Krasnoufimsky district of the Sverdlovsk region.
