This paper presents two multi-system antennas designed for automotive mobile satellite communication applications. The antennas are optimized for the new European S-band mobile satellite systems and in addition they include also the capabilities for GPS and GSM/UMTS bands. The first model implements an Sband Receive-Only radiating element for broadcasting applications while the second one contains also an Sband transmit element allowing interactive services via satellite.
