Beta-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) has been widely used for biomedical application due to its excellent mechanical strength, good tissue compatibility and outstanding chemical stability. There are several methods to fabricate porous scaffolds including solvent casting, phase separation, rapid prototyping and electrospinning methods.
