Conversion of algae biomass load of Nannochloropsis sp. (AB-N) with Na + cations to produce algae-Na (AB-NS) as adsorbent of methylene blue (MB) and methyl orange (MO) has been carried out. Adsorbent characterization using Infrared Spectrophotometer (IR) to identify functional groups on the adsorbent, and Scanning Electron Microscopy with Energy Dispersive X-Ray (SEM-EDX) to analyze surface morphology and elemental composition in the adsorbent.
