The phase structures and phase transition behaviors of bicontinuous cubic (Cub bi ) liquid crystalline compounds, 1,2-bis(4´-n-alkoxybenzoyl)hydrazine (BABH-n, n is the number of carbon in the alkyl chain), confined in the nanoporous alumina having cylindrical pores with a diameter of 200 nm were studied by DSC, POM, and SAXS.
