Abstract: Benzenehasseverehealthandenvironmentalconsequencesbecauseofitshightoxicityand carcinogenicity.AlthoughTiO 2 鄄basedphotocatalyticoxidation(PCO)hasbeenestablishedasoneofthemostpromising technologiesforenvironmentalremediationandhasbeensuccessfulintreatingawidevarietyofvolatileorganic compounds(VOCs),PCOhasonlylimitedsuccessinthetreatmentofaromaticcompoundslikebenzenebecauseofthe deactivationofTiO 2 .Thedevelopmentofhighperformancephotocatalystsforbenzenedegradationisindispensablefor
