Purpose -This paper seeks to analyze the user requirements for designing e-Health Mobile App for dengue surveillance and its evaluation. Methodology -The methodology used for our project is Focus Group Discussion (FGD), questionnaires, interview, Heuristic Evaluation (HE), System Usability Scale (SUS) and hypotheses testing. more » ... ficer from UTM health center (PKU UTM). A sample of 20 participants with two groups of experience and less experienced user are used for SUS and hypotheses testing. Results -Majority respondents get health crisis information from television and their general knowledge and awareness about dengue is moderate. The interviewee suggested to include COMBI (Communication for Behavioral Impact) so that the community can involve in the prevention of health crisis (dengue). The hypothesis testing shows that there is a difference between the experienced and less experienced group. The average score for SUS is 4.13, which shows the participants shows positiveness and very satisfied with the experienced of this application. Conclusion -We designed a Dengue Detector mobile application that have features such as Check Symptoms, Hotspot Area, Nearby Healthcare Facilities, Report and Forum.
