This research is a qualitative descriptive study using secondary data from scientific journals, prior researches, publications in the last five years, and regulations regarding e-waste management in China, Japan, Malaysia, and India. Government is also expected to have concrete actions to reduce e-waste in Indonesia. For this reason, the role of Indonesian government in the field of e-waste regulation is needed considering the capability of solving this problem in order to lead to the better environment for the society in Indonesia.
