Dynamical grammar is the second part of a two-volume work entitled ' Foundations of Syntax '. Volume 1, Syntactic nuts : hard cases, syntactic theory, and language acquisition (Culicover 1999), investigated the properties of language itself, with the aim of establishing the boundary conditions on the learning mechanisms responsible for language acquisition.
