Conduction Anizotropy of Magnetic Fluids at Constant Magnetic Fields
2020
Zenodo
The electrical conductivity of a magnetic fluid on kerosene, stabilized by oleic acid, in an external magnetic field is investigated. The analysis of the current-voltage characteristics with electric and magnetic fields crossed at different angles showed a change in the conductivity of the magnetic fluid. With the same orientation of the fields, the conductivity is maximal and for orthogonal field orientation – minimal. The study of changes in the surface structure of the electrodes showed that
