Aim:To assess the skeletal and dental maturation of different facial types in growing children of south Indian population. Results: Students t -test was applied and Statistically significant difference was noted with dental and skeletal ages betweenhorizontal and vertical growth pattern, Conclusion : Subjects with vertical growth pattern presented a tendency to have earlier dental and skeletal maturation compared to horizontal growth pattern .
