A simultaneous measurement of the top quark-antiquark pair production cross section and the top quark mass in the simulation using proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV is presented. The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 35.9/fb, recorded by the CMS experiment at the LHC in 2016. Dilepton events are selected and the cross section is extracted from a likelihood fit, simultaneously with the top quark mass in the simulation. The resulting cross section is then
