Linguistic ken is a relatively recent term. It is quite succinct and clearly describes the stages of foreign language learning, defining the main goal, but the process of learning can be different. It depends on the choice of approach to learning and methods of teaching a foreign language. more » ... present methodological methods of teaching a foreign language with the help of choral singing and describe their results. These tasks were solved on the basis of personality-oriented and meaning-activity approaches to the organization of the content of training and forms of educational activity in teaching a foreign language. The methodology of the study is based on the methodological works of domestic and foreign studies devoted to teaching a foreign language with the help of song materials. The study describes the relevance of teaching a foreign language based on singing, the criteria for selecting song material, the methodological stages of the organization of training, pedagogical conditions, psychological and pedagogical foundations of training and motivational aspects of the presented methodology. The study involved students from secondary schools, the work on testing and monitoring the results covers an extensive period-more than 10 years. During this period, didactic materials and teaching tools were developed and applied, presented in the form of author's textbooks. The conclusions presented in the study made it possible to determine the main stages, advantages and prospects of teaching a foreign language using the presented methodology and teaching tools. the author's methodology and the results of its application made it possible to draw the main conclusion that without a positive microclimate, without emotional coloring and saturation of lessons, the process of teaching a foreign language does not sufficiently motivate students a [...]
