Social entrepreneurship has a great potential for innovative solutions to economic, social and economic problems that needs to be used for development of the social economy. The empirical basis of the study is the data of the funds that support social entrepreneurship in Russia and abroad, research centers, statistical data, legal documents. Particular attention is paid to the dynamics of socially oriented non-profit organizations in Russia. An analysis is given of both the positive and negative characteristics of the social entrepreneurship infrastructure in present-day Russian society.
