On the Connectivity of Microscopic and Mesoscopic Community Structures

We investigate the dynamical behaviors of the microscopic and the mesoscopic community structures in co-author networks. Two types of data in this study are extracted from author weights in the talk and the poster sessions of the Korean Meteorological Society and the papers published in New Physics: Sae Mulli of the Korean Physical Society. As the temperature increases to a higher value, we simulate and analyze the communicability functions, the number of communities, the difference in communities, and the modularity. We may provide some important results giving evolutionary information obtained from the computer-simulation of community structures.
