the relative weight of fat tissue was 0,7 % and 0,9 % higher, respectively. The findings demonstrated that the carcasses of the test groups (groups 2 and 3 had a relatively higher absolute mass of bone tissue, but the specific weight of the bone tissue in the carcasses was lower than in the control group (group 1). The control group showed lower indices than the test groups (groups 2 and 3) in: -the meat index (meat without bones per kilogram of bones) was 5,8 % lower, i. e. by 0,25 kg, and 7,9
more » ... by 0,25 kg, and 7,9 % lower , i. e. by 0,34 kg, respectively; -the yield of carcass meat without bones per 100 kg of pre-slaughter live weight was 3,6 % lower, i. e. by 1,51 kg, than group 2 and 6,1 % lower, i. e. by 2,57 kg, than group 3; -the yield of carcass meat without bones per kilogram of the inedible part -was 9,8 % lower, i. e. by 0,33 kg, than group 2 and 14,5 % lower, i. e. by 0,49 kg, than group 3.
